Llyn Cae-Ty-Nant Fishery

Steve and Sioned are passionate carp anglers.  Steve has been fishing for nearly 40 years, starting his angling career on small streams, fishing for trout, progressing to large reservoirs that were more like inland seas.

Steve discovered carp fishing in the early 90’s, he served his apprenticeship on intimate estate lakes in the West country, before moving to London where he fished on well renowned venues on the Yateley complex, and venues throughout the Colne Valley.  In 2012, Steve introduced Sioned to carp fishing, and she took to it like a duck to water.  During her first season she managed to catch over a 100 carp from the Birch Syndicate in South Wales, including over 20 different 20’s.  Since then, she has fished for Wales and has Captained the Welsh Ladies Carp Team. 

As anglers they always dreamt of having their own fishery, and in 2017 that dream became a reality.
